Inbal Milliger is an Israeli mezzo soprano praised for her passionate and artful performances in opera, art songs and contemporary music and oratorio.
She has been acclaimed as “strong impression character and earthy mezzo soprano voice” (New York Classical Review), and “substantial instrument and marvelous stage present” (Voce Di Meche).
In the upcoming season Inbal will premier the role of Oscar in the new opera Mother Goose by Felix Jarrar, she will rejoin the Revelation Ensemble and will sing alto in Pergolesi's Stabat Mater and other sacred works that soon will be announced, and will be a soloist in the Salon Concert Music Series in New York which will be dedicated for art songs and chamber music.
Some recent engagements include her role debut of Mistress Slander in Salierie's Falstaff with dell'Arte Opera Ensemble the alto in Pergolesi's Stabat Mater with the Revelation Ensemble (New York) Estelle in Later The Same Evening by John Musto, and Dritte Dame in Mozrat’s Die Zauberflöte in Carnegie Hall.
In previous seasons Inbal performed the role of Siébel in Faust, Laure in Iolanta, Stephano in Roméo et Juliette (The New York Opera Theatre), Lapàk in The Cunning Little Vixen (with dell'arte Opera Ensemble), Dritte Dame in Die Zauberflöte (New York Lyric Opera) and Dryade in Ariadne auf Naxos (Brooklyn Opera Company).
In concert repertoire she performed the Alto Solo in Handel's Messiah, Alto Solo in Vivaldi's Gloria, Alto in Brahms's Liebeslieder Waltzer Op.52, Alto solo in Schubert's Ständchen (Zögernd, leise) in the prize winner concert of the Ada Brodsky Competition, and the Letzte Blätter Op.10 by Strauss in Weiss Hall Jerusalem Music Series.
Inbal was a Finalist in the prestigious Aviv Competition in Tel Aviv, Israel (2018), a semi finalist in the Rochester Oratorio Society Competition (2018), a recipient of the American Israeli Foundation Excellence Scholarship (2014-2106), ans a 1st prize winner of The Ada Brodsky Art Song Competition (2014).
As part of her training Inbal has participated in numerous international masterclasses such as the Lidal North Opera Workshop (Norway), Internationale Sächsische Sängerakademie (Germany) The International Seminar for Strings, Voice and Chamber Music (Israel) to name a few.
In the years spent pursuing her degrees both in New York and Israel (M.Mus. and B.Mus. respectively), Inbal performed roles such as of Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel, Dritte Dame in Die Zauberflöte, Estell in Later The Same Evening (Musto), Patricia in The G Train (McLeer), Amore in L'incoronazione di Poppea, Second Witch in Dido and Aneas.
Inbal is also an avid singer of art songs and contemporary music, she often collaborate with emerging composers and debut their works and has performed in both solo and chamber recitals in different music programs around the world.
